Navigator RN - Breast Care Center
About the role
Providence Swedish First Hill is seeking a nurse to administer a navigational program that assists and expedites the diagnostic care of patients from discovery of an abnormality through diagnosis. The role collaborates with providers to deliver support, education, referrals, coordination of care, and other assistance during the diagnosis and treatment‑planning stages for patients with cancer or a suspicion of cancer.
Responsibilities
- Administer a navigational program to streamline diagnostic care from abnormality discovery to diagnosis.
- Collaborate with providers to offer support, education, referrals, and care coordination during diagnosis and treatment planning for oncology patients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and Nursing degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Applicants without a BSN must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire; continued employment beyond five years is contingent on attaining the BSN.
- Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification (upon hire).
- Three years of experience in oncology, breast care, and health‑care delivery.
- Equivalent education/experience may substitute for all minimum qualifications except where a license, certification, or registration is legally required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification and/or comparable breast certification (upon hire).

Pay
Base pay range: $52.26 – $81.13 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full‑time, Day shift.
