About the role

The Naval Power Portfolio is seeking a Financial Program Controls Analyst to join the Naval Power Directorate. This role offers significant growth opportunities, focusing on providing essential financial oversight and guidance to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts maintained.
  • Partner with Program Management and cross-functional leads to support program execution.
  • Support all programs' financial aspects, including financial planning (LRP, AOP, Working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting, Variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting, NBI).
  • Manage program controls such as developing estimates at completion (EACs) and executing Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

Qualifications

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience and understanding of the program business role, SAP, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
  • Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
