Naval Combat System Analyst

About the role

As a Navy Combat Systems Analyst, you will use your combat systems expertise to support the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of ship combat systems. Your responsibilities will include providing inputs and technical support on behalf of a Navy program office throughout all phases of the combat systems development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of ship combat systems
• Provide inputs and technical support on behalf of a Navy program office throughout all phases of the combat systems development lifecycle
• Work in a team environment with senior staff supporting combat systems development, acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and readiness assessments

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working with combat systems, such as AEGIS or SSDS, for the DoD or U.S. Navy as a civilian, military personnel, or contractor
• Experience with operations, sensors, and weapons system integration onboard U.S. Naval ships
• Knowledge of the combat system software development life cycle
• Top Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Nice if you have: Experience with U.S. Navy platforms, combat and networked systems, surface and air-launched weapons, C4I, Sensor, and EW systems
• Experience with NAVSEA and Naval Surface Warfare Center programs
• Experience with Title 10 and Title 50 guiding principles and directives
• Experience with over-the-horizon targeting and long-range fires
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition and logistics policies and procedures
• TSCI clearance

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Our work model supports collaboration and engagement through virtual meetings and flexible work arrangements. Employees may be required to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, depending on the role and customer needs.
