Natural Resources Consultant
About the role
WSP is seeking a Natural Resources Consultant to support our Texas & Louisiana region. This position will be part of our Earth & Environment Team, supporting a variety of natural resources, environmental permitting, and ecological assessment projects throughout the region. As part of a growing organization, you will work alongside scientists, planners, engineers, and environmental professionals to help clients navigate complex environmental challenges while promoting responsible resource management and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting natural resources projects, conducting environmental field investigations, evaluating ecological resources, and coordinating with regulatory agencies. This role provides the opportunity to expand technical expertise, contribute to diverse energy and infrastructure projects, and support environmental stewardship initiatives across multiple market sectors. As our natural resources practice continues to grow, you will assist with environmental assessments, biological surveys, habitat evaluations, permitting efforts, and compliance support for energy, industrial, infrastructure, and land development projects.
