Natural Gas Meter Technician - Michels Utility Service, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely remove and replace natural gas meters
• Relight appliances to restore service in customers’ homes
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company and regulatory safety standards

Requirements

• Previous mechanical or technical experience (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred)
• Willingness to train on natural gas systems and meter-specific procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $29.27 - $37.43 USD per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
