Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that align customer objectives with Kuehne+Nagel's VinLog value proposition.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets.
  • Lead customer RFQs, tenders, and proposal processes while coordinating internal resources to deliver competitive solutions.
  • Expand the footprint of VinLog solutions by uncovering cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while achieving high conversion and closing rates.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to align on strategic priorities, performance, and future growth opportunities.
  • Present innovative logistics solutions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer value.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international VinLog teams to provide seamless customer representation and support.
  • Leverage Kuehne+Nagel's global network to share best practices, generate sales leads, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Monitor account performance, including volume, profitability, pipeline activity, and account receivables.
  • Analyze account trends and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and handoff of new business to operational teams, ensuring all customer commitments are met.
  • Act as a consultative partner to customers by understanding evolving supply chain needs and recommending tailored solutions.
  • Establish strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support long-term business success.
  • Represent Kuehne+Nagel professionally in the marketplace while promoting innovation, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships and influence decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and active listening skills.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM/sales management tools.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
  • This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

Pay

The target base salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
