About the role

Simon Roofing, a leading commercial roofing solutions organization, is seeking a driven individual to join our team as a National Sales Representative. This role is a "Hybrid" position where you will work remotely and at our corporate office.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in outside sales and a strong desire for professional development. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided as part of the well-established sales team.

The role offers uncapped bonus potential and ample room for advancement within our dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify National Account opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional customer service throughout the U.S.
  • Provide consultative roofing service solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
  • Organize and execute targeted programs and communications to reinforce the value propositions of Simon Roofing.
  • Able and willing to work a "Hybrid" role where you work remote AND at the office.
  • Travel, as required, to prospect customer offices/sites to assist Senior Sales Representatives to secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations.
  • Able to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet.
  • Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset.
  • Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.

Requirements

  • A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of outside sales experience. (Roofing experience not required).
  • Cold Calling/Prospecting experience.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Able to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet.
  • Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset.
  • Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing.
