About the role
Simon Roofing, a leading commercial roofing solutions organization, is seeking a driven individual to join our team as a National Sales Representative. This role is a "Hybrid" position where you will work remotely and at our corporate office.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in outside sales and a strong desire for professional development. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided as part of the well-established sales team.
The role offers uncapped bonus potential and ample room for advancement within our dynamic sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify National Account opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional customer service throughout the U.S.
- Provide consultative roofing service solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
- Organize and execute targeted programs and communications to reinforce the value propositions of Simon Roofing.
- Able and willing to work a "Hybrid" role where you work remote AND at the office.
- Travel, as required, to prospect customer offices/sites to assist Senior Sales Representatives to secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations.
- Able to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet.
- Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset.
- Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
Requirements
- A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred.
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience. (Roofing experience not required).
- Cold Calling/Prospecting experience.
- Customer service oriented.
- Able to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet.
- Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset.
