About the role

Simon Roofing, a leading commercial roofing solutions organization, is currently seeking driven individuals to join our team as National Sales Representative. This will be a "Hybrid" role where you'll work remote AND at our corporate office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify National Account opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional customer service throughout U.S.
  • Providing consultative roofing service solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts
  • Organizing and executing targeted programs and communications to reinforce the value propositions of Simon Roofing

Requirements

  • Able and willing to work a "Hybrid" role where you work remote AND at the office
  • A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of outside sales experience.
  • (Roofing experience not required)
  • Cold Calling/Prospecting experience
  • Customer service oriented
  • Travel, as required, to prospect customer offices/sites to assist Senior Sales Representatives to secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet
  • Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset
  • Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening
