About the role
Simon Roofing, a leading commercial roofing solutions organization, is currently seeking driven individuals to join our team as National Sales Representative. This will be a "Hybrid" role where you'll work remote AND at our corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Identify National Account opportunities
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on exceptional customer service throughout U.S.
- Providing consultative roofing service solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building efforts
- Organizing and executing targeted programs and communications to reinforce the value propositions of Simon Roofing
Requirements
- Able and willing to work a "Hybrid" role where you work remote AND at the office
- A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred.
- At least 2 years of outside sales experience.
- (Roofing experience not required)
- Cold Calling/Prospecting experience
- Customer service oriented
- Travel, as required, to prospect customer offices/sites to assist Senior Sales Representatives to secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, and maintain customer relations
- Ability to climb up and down ladders to rooftops and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet
- Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset
- Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening
