Main Duties Include:
- Management, development and appointment of all Level 4-5 men and Level 1-5 women match officials to nominated National competitions
- Management, assurance and appointment of all National Referee Assessors and National Referee Instructors to nominated National competitions and training events
- Management, development and appointment of all FUTSAL and Beach Soccer match officials to National FUTSAL and National Beach Soccer tournaments
- Ensure National match official performance merit tables are regularly updated and available
- Strategize, establish and oversee Centres of Refereeing Excellence (CORE) and CORE activities in areas of maximum potential footballing growth
- Line Management of 5 x Zonal Referee Development Officers (ZRDOs) and Assistant Manager Referee Department
- Provide AIFF required support and advice, through the ZRDOs, to MAs’ associated refereeing activities for Level 8-6 match officials
- Implement the AIFF Licensed Referee Instructor Programme Category B-D
- Implement the AIFF Licensed Referee Assessor Programme Category B-D
- Effective management for the National Exam and after action for the promotion of match officials to Level 5
- Maintain standardised Basic Referees, Basic Referee Assessor and Basic Referee Instructor Training Courses for distribution to MA Head of Referees
- Assure all National Referee Assessor reports and grading of National Referee Assessors
- Ensure effective annual registration of all active referees, assessors and instructors maintaining accurate active numbers and retention comparison
- Develop and implement AIFF’s Youth Referee Programme
- RFYS’ primary point of contact for Women Development initiatives
- All other duties as directed by the CRO.

- Retired Level 1-5 (Old CAT 1-2) match official with 5-years minimum experience
- Thorough understanding of the technical skills and coaching required to enthuse a “Learn & Grow” culture
- Comprehensive knowledge of Indian MAs football activities
- Able to use effectively Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
