About the role
InPwr, Inc. is seeking a National Electrical Foreman to lead and manage electrical projects in various locations across the country. This is a traveling position requiring flexibility and adaptability to work 17 days on and 4 days off, with a 10-hour daily schedule and potential overtime.
Responsibilities
- Lead a job site of journeyman electricians, apprentices, and install service wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices and systems on commercial projects.
- Install projects as contracted and designed using design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as local codes and requirements.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation of work performed and processes involved.
- Conduct daily reporting, look-aheads, and progress updates.
- Lead, guide, and/or train other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years experience as a Journeyman Electrician with industrial/mission critical experience (e.g., Data Center, Waste Water).
- Ability to read maps, manuals, specs, blueprints, and instructions.
- Knowledge of the NEC and ability to navigate the guidelines.
- Bend conduit by hand and use standard power tools (saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches).
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- Positive and "Can Do!" attitude, team player, and leader.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess excellent physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- This role requires the ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Carry personal tools (approximately 30 lbs.) and work from various types of ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts at heights up to 90 feet.
- Access restricted areas such as manholes, tunnels, and crawl spaces.
- Wear appropriate PPE and perform repetitive motions with arms, hands, and fingers.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 51 lbs., and completing overhead work for extended periods.
- Work long shifts (up to 10 hours per day, 58 hours per week), including overtime and night shifts.

- Provide personnel with appropriate PPE.
- Limited non-essential foot traffic.
