About the role
InPwr, Inc. is seeking a National Electrical Foreman to lead and manage electrical projects in various locations across the country. As a dynamic team member, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of service wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices on commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a job site of journeyman, electricians, and apprentices
- Install service wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices and systems on commercial projects
- Install projects as contracted and designed utilizing design drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams
- Ensure all electrical work meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code (NEC) as well as local codes and requirements
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation of work performed and processes involved
- Conduct daily reporting, look-aheads, and progress updates
- Lead, guide, and/or train other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years experience as a Journeyman Electrician with industrial/mission critical experience (Data Center, Waste Water, etc.)
- Ability to read maps, manuals, specs, blueprints, and instructions
- Knowledge of the NEC and ability to navigate the guidelines
- Bend conduit by hand and use standard power tools (saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, knockout punches)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Positive and "Can Do!" attitude, team player, and leader
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Day to Day and Essential Functions

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Utilize standard construction site facilities
- Carry personal tools (approximately 30 lbs.) and work from various types of ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts at heights up to 90 feet
- Access restricted areas such as manholes, tunnels, and crawl spaces
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Perform repetitive motions with arms, hands, and fingers
- Complete overhead work for extended periods
- Work in physically demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 51 lbs., and completing overhead work for extended periods
- Work long shifts (up to 10 hours per day, 58 hours per week), including overtime and night shifts
Schedule
This is a traveling position. Must be open to working 17 days on and 4 days off. Ability to work 10 hours per day, 58 hours per week, overtime as required and night shifts.
