Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coatings Chemist to support formulation, development, and technical service activities. This is a hands-on role working closely with senior chemists and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify powder coating formulations (epoxy, polyester, hybrids)
• Support scale-up from lab to production
• Conduct testing: cure, gloss, color, mechanical and chemical resistance
• Evaluate and qualify raw materials
• Troubleshoot processing and application issues
• Maintain formulation and test documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
• 2-7 years coatings experience in powder coatings
• Strong lab and troubleshooting skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• With extrusion and powder processing
• Familiarity with electrostatic application
• Familiarity with pigments, resins, and additives
