About the Role
The National Development Manager (NDM) expands Ryder's footprint in the marketplace and shortens the sales cycle by turning over highly qualified leads to Field Sales. This individual is responsible for national accounts, engaging in lead nurturing, and assessing leads based on their match to the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and activity level to determine if and when they merit one-on-one attention.
Responsibilities
- Accomplish one-on-one nurturing and use BANT Lead qualification criteria to determine if a lead merits assigning a sales resource.
- Schedule meetings between Sales Qualified leads and Ryder Sales Representatives.
- Educate and develop prospects regarding Ryder's Value Proposition and Services offered.
- Maintain a high level of call volume to pass qualified leads to sales, set customer appointments, and generate revenue.
- Recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converse on transportation industry topics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in business/marketing or equivalent experience.
- Three (3) or more years of successful sales experience required.
- Three (3) or more years of prior Inside Sales experience preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of prior experience selling in a B2B environment required.
- DOT Regulated: No.
- Remote: 100%.
Pay
Base salary: $50,000 plus commission.
