National Development Manager
About the role
The Development Manager will work closely with the Development team and will perform key functions including helping build and maintain a robust pipeline of funding opportunities, executing appeals/campaigns, and providing support with fundraising events.
Responsibilities
- Research, outreach, and grant writing
- Manage all logistics for spring and winter appeal campaigns
- Aid in planning and execution of large annual fundraising events
- Support with fundraising events
- Lead development of department newsletter and dissemination to all staff
- Support planning and implementation of annual department retreat
- Manage calendar for department convenings as needed

- Experience managing data in a CRM (Raiser’s Edge preferred)

Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting salary of $75,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the individual candidate. This position is based in Los Angeles and requires an in-office presence of four days a week, Monday-Thursday with an option to work remotely on Fridays for a minimum of 40 hours a week with additional hours as needed throughout the year.
