About the role
As a National Brand Manager (NBM), you are the primary point of contact and strategic liaison between our manufacturer partners and our internal sales teams. You are responsible for executing brand strategies, driving retail performance, and ensuring that each partner receives the highest level of service and support. This is a dynamic role requiring a balance of brand stewardship, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Brand Ownership & Execution – Take ownership of your assigned brand portfolio, working closely with partners to develop and execute sales and promotional strategies.
- Partner Communication & Planning – Act as the key communicator between PRESENCE and the brand, managing call schedules, business reviews, and deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Retail Services, Data and Insights, and Brand Specialists to coordinate efforts and keep projects moving forward.
- Project & Promotional Management – Oversee the promotional calendars, item trackers, and internal tools that support each brand’s visibility and performance.
- Data & Insights – Understand and communicate key business drivers using tools like SPINS, Power BI, and distributor reporting, translating insights into action and using data to inform brand conversations and next steps.
- Presentation & Meeting Support – Prepare and present business updates, pitch decks, and internal overviews, often representing the brand in calls and virtual meetings.
Requirements
- Internal Candidates: RSM, AE, or Specialist experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, account management or sales
- Background in natural/organic CPG, including distributor and retail channel experience
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Working knowledge of SPINS, Power BI, and other data tools preferred
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team
- Ability to travel occasionally (~20%) for meetings or events
