National Air Logistics Healthcare Manager
About the role
The National Air Logistics Healthcare Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the healthcare vertical within the Air Logistics organization across the country. This role drives strategic growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and compliance with healthcare and life sciences industry requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national healthcare air logistics strategy to support business growth and customer retention.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for healthcare and life sciences logistics, providing guidance on industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare customers, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Maintain and improve operational performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction across the healthcare logistics portfolio.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, customer care, and compliance teams to deliver customized healthcare logistics solutions.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and quality standards, including GDP, temperature-control requirements, and customer-specific SOPs.
- Identify new business opportunities and support commercial initiatives within the healthcare and life sciences sector.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead, coach, and support teams involved in healthcare logistics activities, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Maintain and promote company policies, operational standards, and compliance requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 4-7+ years of experience in air logistics, freight forwarding, healthcare/life sciences logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare logistics, temperature-controlled transportation, GDP standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management, business development, and operational leadership.
- Strong understanding of international air freight operations, transportation networks, and supply chain best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is between $95,000 and $110,000 annually. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
