Duties
- Manage customer relationships by developing regular communications with key customer personnel.
- Respond promptly to all complaints from customer and follow up to ensure problem resolution.
- First level of support for product development, agency retention of business, and partnership support for growth.
- Act as liaison between customer and company to work out details regarding services, products, and problems.
- Attend customer functions, industry trade shows and conferences, etc., to secure positive relations with customer and Agencies they support.
- Communicate and coordinate as the primary channel of communication between corporate headquarters and purchasing, information services, and accounting departments.
- Promote customer profitability by working with account managers to retain and grow accounts and maintain profitability.
- This may include, but is not limited to managing dead and slow inventory, accounts receivable/deposits, unrealistic service requests and balanced loads, etc.
- Inventory management by working with brokers and supplier reps to keep up with customer's needs.
- Work with purchasing to ensure products needed to service multi-unit customers are ordered timely.
- Cook with purchasing and operations to achieve goals of no dead stock, damaged goods, or out of stock items.
- Respond to problems with inventory as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years sales, supplier management, sales support experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
Compensation
$58,000 - 75,000 base salary + 20% annual incentive potential
