About the role
Provide comprehensive flight training in various aircraft types including private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilots. Offer ground school assistance and prepare students for check rides.
Responsibilities
- Teach private pilot (PPL), instrument, commercial, and sport pilot licenses.
- Prepare students for FAA check rides and certifications.
- Offer ground school sessions to enhance theoretical knowledge.
- Train on various aircraft types including single-engine, multi-engine, and complex aircraft.
- Provide instruction in areas such as tailwheel operations, high-performance aircraft, and mountain flying.
- Offer endorsement services for additional ratings like instrument rating (IR).
- Teach advanced ground courses and prepare students for instrument rating (IR).
- Offer personalized flight training and checkride preparation.
Requirements
- Valid commercial pilot license (CPL) or higher.
- Experience teaching private, instrument, commercial, and sport pilots.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures.
- Ability to teach in various aircraft types including single-engine, multi-engine, and complex aircraft.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for aviation and a commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 200 hours of flight time.
- Completion of a flight instructor course.
- Current medical certificate.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
