About the RoleFeel Your Soul and Jacob Zander are hiring a Narrative Short-Form Storyteller to turn long-form video (vlogs, brand content) into scroll-stopping short-form stories for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You'll be the editor who finds the story inside raw footage and shapes it into something that performs. What You'll DoCut long-form video into multiple short-form variations for A/B testing and performance optimizationEdit in Premiere Pro with strong narrative pacing and structureBuild light motion graphics in After Effects to enhance storytellingApply sound design that elevates the emotional pull of each editIterate based on what's performing across platforms What We're Looking ForProven experience editing short-form content, ideally in a narrative/storytelling styleStrong command of Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphicsA clear understanding of sound design as a storytelling tool, not just polishComfortable testing multiple cuts/hooks to find what performs bestBased in the US or South America Compensation & GrowthThis role starts as a part-time arrangement (per-video rate) with a path to a full-time retainer position.
