About the role

The NAR/Care Specialist provides direct care to residents to maintain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain residents' highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through quality care.
  • Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with medication administration and record keeping.
  • Participate in scheduled shift handovers and document resident care activities.
  • Engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of living areas.

Requirements

  • Current certification through Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry required.
  • Nursing assistant experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Heimlich procedure skills preferred.

Qualifications

Pay

Compensation: An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Schedule

Shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am
Frequency: 24 hrs/wk
Full-Time Equivalent: .6 FTE
