Duties And Responsibilities
- Create awareness and demand for the company products and services.
- Greet and interact with customers.
- Aid customers with purchase decisions and provide product recommendations.
- Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, place special orders.
- Collect payment using the store point of sale system.
- Process returns and exchanges.
- Identify potential opportunities and effectively communicate benefits and opportunities available to meet needs and interests.
- Monitor innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- Make deliveries or transfer parts between locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
Physical Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
