Duties And Responsibilities

  • Create awareness and demand for the company products and services.
  • Greet and interact with customers.
  • Aid customers with purchase decisions and provide product recommendations.
  • Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, place special orders.
  • Collect payment using the store point of sale system.
  • Process returns and exchanges.
  • Identify potential opportunities and effectively communicate benefits and opportunities available to meet needs and interests.
  • Monitor innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Make deliveries or transfer parts between locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of various relationship sales techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Flexible, creative, and able to work in a non-structured developing work environment.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.

Physical Requirements

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
