Named Hunter Account Executive
About the role
Achieve strategic account management by assessing your accounts and developing a plan to engage all buying centers. Utilize a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers. Identify and prioritize the most impactful use cases in each account to drive maximum Databricks impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ecosystem integration and maximize account value.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies to effectively prospect and grow customer relationships
- Manage competitive deals and proactively escalate issues when necessary
- Promote the Databricks enterprise cloud data platform and its capabilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on delivering technical and business outcomes using the Databricks platform
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment and maximize account impact
- Communicate complex cloud technologies and data solutions to customers
- Meet and exceed sales targets for new logo acquisition and customer growth
- Balance prospecting efforts with ongoing customer engagement to drive long-term success
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in open-source, data platform, or cloud infrastructure sales
- Proven track record of success in acquiring new customers and growing existing customer relationships
- Experience building and managing customer relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Ability to articulate intricate cloud technologies and data solutions effectively
- Track record of exceeding sales goals and closing new business opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Pay
The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Actual compensation is determined by a variety of factors including job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location.
