About the role

ABI Resources seeks individuals who are passionate about serving others and providing quality care. Our team members work closely with clients to ensure a healthy and professional environment, focusing on personal hygiene, dressing, scheduling medical and therapeutic appointments, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and regular exercise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent safety and a healthy environment for clients.
• Support clients in all aspects of home and community life.
• Attend and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities.
• Help with personal hygiene and dressing routines.
• Schedule and manage daily activities.
• Encourage regular exercise and entertainment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
• Driver’s license required with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Submit a letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.

Skills

Teamwork, empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with community resources are also beneficial.
