About the role
ABI Resources seeks individuals who are passionate about serving others and providing quality care. This role involves supporting individuals with disabilities in various aspects of their daily lives, ensuring their safety, and fostering healthy relationships.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent safety and health for clients.
- Provide companionship and support for personal hygiene and dressing.
- Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Help with shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities.
- Instruct clients on healthy living practices, including regular exercise and socialization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
- Driver’s license required and reliable transportation.
- Proof of insurance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- A letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.
