Under the general direction of the Director of Middle & Upper School, the ideal candidate will provide engaging, challenging, and student-centered instruction in Spanish language acquisition to students in grades 6–10 within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework. The MYP Spanish Teacher will foster students’ proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish while promoting intercultural understanding, global awareness, and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will inspire students to become confident language learners, critical thinkers, and internationally minded individuals who demonstrate curiosity, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives. This position requires a collaborative educator who can support students in achieving success within the IB framework while contributing positively to Carolina Prep’s vibrant academic community.
