MXU Coordinator

This position is based in Virginia. Candidates must live in Virginia to be considered.

About the role

As an MXU Coordinator/Plant Engineer at RJE Telecom, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient systems and processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. You'll also engage with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with remote drafting and GIS personnel to produce construction drawings for the network
• Plan, design, and obtain permits for new cable routes
• Work as part of a multi-faceted team of engineering, construction, project management, and scheduling personnel to deliver results to the customer
• Engage regularly with the customer’s engineering team and project management for updates and feedback
• Provide frequent project progress updates and risk assessments to the management team
• Design aerial and underground telecommunications plant routes
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, plus at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination
• Proficient with Excel & Word
• Knowledge of Telecommunications industry standards
• Previous Verizon experience a plus

Pay

Salary range from $68,000.00 to $75,000.00 depending on experience.
