MW Factory Supervisor 4th Shift

About the role

You will lead operations for a team of operators and technicians that build some of the most advanced electronics in our defense industry. Electronic Combat Solutions is looking to add a Value Stream Specialist to our operations team and this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities

• Lead the factory to success across our production programs
• Manage a team of operators and technicians
• Monitor, influence, and track production to achieve all delivery milestones
• Interface daily with Process Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to ensure the factory is set up for success each and every day
• Work to eliminate waste from the value stream and drive towards zero defects
• Own the product being built in the factory
• Assume all responsibility for daily operations within your team
• Make impacts in the following ways:
• Ownership of daily operations within factory
• Management of operators and technicians
• Monitor, influence, and track production to achieve all delivery milestones
• Partner with Supply Chain team to ensure material flow supports factory production demands
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to find root cause of defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure factory is adhering to all command media and compliance requirements
• Participate and help lead audits, both internal and DCMA/DCMAS
• Evaluate staffing levels and support Product Stream Manager in hiring efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's Degree with 2+ years experience, or 4+ years experience in lieu of a degree
• Secret Clearance
• Leadership or mentoring experience

Skills

• Excellent communication and leadership skills – ability to motivate others
• Understanding of basic Lean Manufacturing principles
• Ability to communicate status of production and articulate delivery projections on a weekly/monthly basis
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Leadership within a microwave manufacturing environment

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $56401 - $95881

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
