Production Supervisor - 4th shift

Roadmap

Directs the operation of shift production, ensuring adherence to standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensures production technicians and outsourced labor are properly instructed in equipment care and operation, and monitors their use.
• Reviews records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials, and performs continuous inspections of the product to meet quality standards.
• Ensures equipment is in good operating condition.
• Promotes positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
• Maintains a safe working environment through enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections and safety meetings.
• Plans and adjusts work assignments to cover all phases of production.
• Operates the facility metal detector(s) if required, ensuring full training and certification.
• Ensures employee compliance with work rules.
• Affords assistance with employee training.
• Makes recommendations on disciplinary action and participates in the disciplinary action process as necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area.
• Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years experience in all areas of plant production work.

Essential Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Pay

Salary Range: $69,856.35 - $77,209.65
