MVS Machine Operator

Essential Job Functions

• Understand basic CNC programming to set up and modify production runs.
• Perform basic data entry functions.
• Operate manual tool grinders, disk grinders, and centerless grinders.
• Utilize measuring equipment to inspect product for accuracy.
• Maintain production levels and quality according to company standards.
• Remake or rework products that do not meet specifications.
• Input data using internal computer programs.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience with basic computer skills and Windows/non-Windows formats.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Knowledge of fractions, decimals, metrics, conversions, and geometry/trigonometry.
• Mechanically inclined.
