About the role
MFO is a cross-functional team handling multiple functions within Mutual Fund Operations, including Trading, Dividends, Sub Accounting, and Vendor Relationships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a good working relationship with external Clearing Correspondents, Mutual Fund Companies, and Transfer Agents.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Adapt to change and manage heavy volume or change situations effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with back-office operations in a brokerage or financial services firm.
- Complex problem-solving skills, strong analytical, research, data entry, and prioritization abilities.
- Proven experience collaborating across business units.
- Experience mitigating risk and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred.
- Experience with vendor relations or sub accounting relative to Mutual Funds.
- Positive attitude during times of heavy volume and/or change.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of work under strict time constraints.
