Mutual Funds Trading Operations Specialist

About the role

MFO is a cross-functional team handling multiple functions within Mutual Fund Operations, including Trading, Dividends, Sub Accounting, and Vendor Relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a good working relationship with external Clearing Correspondents, Mutual Fund Companies, and Transfer Agents.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adapt to change and manage heavy volume or change situations effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with back-office operations in a brokerage or financial services firm.
  • Complex problem-solving skills, strong analytical, research, data entry, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven experience collaborating across business units.
  • Experience mitigating risk and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Series 7 & 63 licenses preferred.
  • Experience with vendor relations or sub accounting relative to Mutual Funds.
  • Positive attitude during times of heavy volume and/or change.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of work under strict time constraints.

Pay
