About the role
The Muslim Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients, families, and staff members of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The role includes counseling, prayer services, and other religious support activities.
Responsibilities
- Counsel patients, families, and staff on spiritual and religious issues
- Offer prayer services and lead communal prayers
- Support and facilitate interfaith dialogue
- Engage in community outreach and educational programs
Requirements
- Must be a practicing Muslim
- Experience in chaplaincy or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or related field
- Board certification in pastoral care and counseling
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
