Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
- Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and enjoy playing music
- Nurture the culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect within the store
- Partner with store Lessons Leads to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
- Communicate with students and/or parents about each student's progress and goals
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and families through frequent communication and trust-building
- Assist with customer service as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
- Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
- Monday-Saturday (as of 12/3/25)
