About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
- Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and enjoy playing music
- Nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect within the store
- Partner with store staff to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
- Communicate regularly with students and parents, building trusting relationships and sharing progress
- Provide excellent customer service as needed, helping to build long-term student relationships
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
- Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
