Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
- Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and enjoy playing music
- Nurture our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
- Communicate with students and/or parents of students on progress of each student
- Build and maintain long-term students by providing a great experience
- Assist with customer service as needed
- Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing parental knowledge as a Music Teacher
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
- Ability to teach the instrument that you are proficient in, such as Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
