About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
- Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and enjoy playing music
- Nurture our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
- Aid in customer service by helping to build and maintain long-term student relationships
- Communicate with students and/or parents about each student's progress and goals
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
- Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching

- Passionate about music and teaching
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
