About the role

Guitar Center is a nationwide retailer dedicated to fostering a community of musicians and music enthusiasts. Our mission is to inspire and enable individuals to explore and express themselves through music.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and enjoy playing music.
• Nurture our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on the needs of the community.
• Aid in customer service by helping to build and maintain long-term student relationships.
• Communicate with students and/or parents about each student's progress and goals.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument that you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
