About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and student-centered Music Teacher to join our K-12 program. The position is a Classroom/Choral role covered by the Plattsburgh Teachers' Association Contract, based in Plattsburgh, NY.
Responsibilities
- Direct choral ensembles
- Teach general music classes
- Provide string instruction (small group lessons)
- Direct an a cappella ensemble (additional opportunity)
- Advise the drama club (additional opportunity)
Requirements
- New York State Music Certification
- Experience in music education
- Strong background in choral instruction and conducting
- String knowledge
