About the Company
Education Through Music is a non‑profit organization that partners with New York City Public Schools to place music teachers and programs back into school curricula. It provides a bridge for teachers who are not certified to teach in public schools, builds their program, and eventually helps them be hired by a public school for the DOE. ETM serves all five boroughs, partners with 50 public schools, and provides music education to over 18,000 children. Music is essential for students' social and emotional well‑being and a critical tool for establishing equity and success. The organization seeks teachers who are passionate about music and making a difference in their communities.
