Music Teacher ~ Elementary School

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair musical instruments and equipment
• Work collaboratively with other specialists on curriculum, instruction, and assessment
• Provide structure and routines with clear expectations to facilitate a safe and engaged environment for students
• Provide students with clear behavior expectations
• Work closely with other music teachers to schedule and coordinate student performances
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principals

Qualifications

• Experience/knowledge in teaching in extended time periods
• Strong organizational, communication, and class management skills
• Knowledge of Music Technology
