Music Literacy Teacher, Part-time (Tianjin, China based)

Introduction

Responsibilities

• Teach the Music Literacy course in a bilingual setting.
• Participate in training sessions with Tianjin Juilliard trainers, as necessary.
• Learn the course curriculum and deliver the lessons in a fun and engaging way.
• Work closely with the Public Education Department and participate in meetings, as necessary.
• Communicate with the class(es) and observe students in class.
• Offer feedback and assess the quality of students' participation.
• Provide periodic reports if requested.
• Participate in marketing events as necessary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of master’s degree in Music or Music Education.
• Chinese citizens with strong English ability; graduates of overseas universities preferred.
• Experienced classroom teachers.
• Ability to balance professional demeanor with fun and energetic personality.
