Responsibilities
- Coach engaging private lessons and dynamic group rehearsals that prepare students for live performances.
- Teach the fundamentals of music—not just songs.
- Create thoughtful lesson plans while maintaining accurate lesson notes and Method App assignments.
- Build strong relationships with students and families through regular communication.
- Support rehearsals, school events, and the overall student experience.
Requirements
- Follow the School of Rock Code of Conduct and all safety policies.
Qualifications
- We're looking for musicians who enjoy working with people just as much as they enjoy making music.
- The ideal candidate has experience teaching students of varying ages and skill levels and enjoys helping them achieve goals through performance-based music education.
Skills
- Experience teaching students of varying ages and abilities.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Knowledge of music theory and musical fundamentals.
- Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Positive, patient, adaptable, and enjoys collaborating with others.
- Pasion for teaching and helping students grow through live performance.

Schedule
Starting pay begins at $20/hour, with higher compensation available for experienced instructors based on qualifications and teaching experience.
