Summary/Primary Purpose
The Salvation Army Mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide music classes to school age children in 2nd Grade through High School and adults.
- Participate and lead students during Shield Fine Arts recitals/concerts.
- Provide supervision for the children in the program.
- Enforce all rules and fair discipline among program participants.
- Report any accidents/incidents to the director and complete the proper forms.
- Responsible for the set up and take down of games and equipment used for activities.
- Positively interact with volunteers and visitors.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years music experience working with children/adults.
- A minimum bachelor’s degree in music preferred, or extensive experience teaching music.
- An advanced degree or training is desired however combination of High School diploma, or its equivalent and teaching experience will be considered.

Working Conditions
- The work environment is a setting with moderate and occasionally high noise levels.
