Responsibilities
- Teach music to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Maintain classroom management and student safety
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- 1.0 full-time equivalent (fte)
- Certified, open-until-filled positions must remain open for a minimum of three business days and may then be closed at any time.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Music Education preferred
- Experience teaching music in grades K-12
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to assess student progress and provide feedback
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
Pay
Salary Range: $52,200 - $73,970
