About the role
The ideal candidate will be a certified K-12 Music teacher with part-time availability to teach music and band classes.
Responsibilities
- Teach music and band classes to students in grades K-8
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement music curriculum
- Support student development through music education
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Music Education or related field
- Valid Maine teaching certificate (614)
- Experience teaching music and band to students in grades K-8
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for music education
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to a remote learning environment
- Experience with technology integration in music education

Pay
The pay range for this position is $35,000 - $40,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The part-time schedule for this position is flexible but requires availability during the school year, typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend support as needed.
