About the role
The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, event promotion, and content creation.Responsibilities
- Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including posting, scheduling, and engaging with followers.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote events and initiatives.
- Create and maintain high-quality content for various platforms.
- Work closely with the executive team to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.
- Assist in organizing and promoting regional museum conferences and other events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and social media management tools.
Qualifications
- Experience with event planning and coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
