About the role
The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, event promotion, and website updates.Responsibilities
- Manage social media accounts for the organization, including content creation and scheduling.
- Promote events through various channels such as email newsletters, press releases, and online advertising.
- Oversee the design and implementation of marketing campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
- Update and maintain the organization’s website to ensure it is user-friendly and reflective of current initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to align marketing strategies with overall organizational goals.
Requirements
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in social media management tools and graphic design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Experience with SEO and content optimization.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and database management.
- Understanding of nonprofit marketing principles and practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Strong project management skills.
