Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Museum Docent for a 12-month temporary assignment in Plano, Texas.

About the role

A part-time docent to assist visitors and staff at the Experience Center.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors and making them feel welcome
• Conducting tours to VIPs and special groups
• Assisting visitors and answering questions
• Helping staff, including some cleaning
• Opening/closing procedures and turning exhibits on/off

Requirements

• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable speaking to small and large groups of people
• Must be personable, have a positive attitude, and be flexible to changing situations
• Must be able to follow directions and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive experience or car enthusiast
• Languages: Spanish, Japanese, or American Sign Language

Schedule

9 AM to 5 PM
