Musculoskeletal Imaging - Clinician--Educator - Senior Ranks

About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

• Daily clinical supervision and teaching of residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
• Participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties
• Teaching medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology at HUP, PPMC, PAH, and PAVMC
• Providing clinical service in PF, CT, MRI, arthrograms/joint aspirations
• Competence in diagnostic MSK US and image-guided tumor biopsies
• Participation in the Musculoskeletal Imaging off-hours on-call program, including evening, night, and weekend coverage
• Leading the development of a focused body of research in a field within Musculoskeletal Imaging
• Serving as a mentor to junior faculty, providing strong guidance and support in the development of clinical or basic research careers

Requirements

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology, and completion of a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship is strongly recommended. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
