About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Responsibilities
- Daily clinical supervision and teaching of residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
- Participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties
- Teaching medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology at HUP, PPMC, PAH, and PAVMC
- Providing clinical service in PF, CT, MRI, arthrograms/joint aspirations
- Competence in diagnostic MSK US and image-guided tumor biopsies
- Participation in the Musculoskeletal Imaging off-hours on-call program, including evening, night, and weekend coverage
- Leading the development of a focused body of research in a field within Musculoskeletal Imaging
- Serving as a mentor to junior faculty, providing strong guidance and support in the development of clinical or basic research careers
Requirements
Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology, and completion of a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship is strongly recommended. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
