About the role

Murdoch’s is a retail store that values its team members who are passionate about providing exceptional service and products. We offer a variety of roles including Animal Health/Pet/Tack, Cashier, Clothing, Livestock & Ag Fencing, Power Equipment/Tools, and Sporting Goods (Firearms).

Responsibilities

• Deliver value and have fun with our customers.
• Specialize in dog food, pet accessories, tack, vaccines, and more in the Animal Health/Pet/Tack role.
• Aid customers with purchases, returns, and exchanges as a Cashier.
• Style customers from head to toe as a Clothing specialist.
• Steer customers in the right direction on livestock and ag fencing needs as a Livestock & Ag Fencing specialist.
• Give a helping hand in finding the right tools for every project as a Power Equipment/Tools specialist.
• Guide hunters and outdoor enthusiasts on locating the gear they need as a Sporting Goods (Firearms) specialist.

Requirements

• Have a “can-do” attitude.
• Be ready for a hard day's work on your feet with heavy and repetitive lifting.
• Work as a team to uphold our Mission, Values, and Principles—our MVPs.

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Heavy and repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Bending, carrying, and pushing.
• Working on a ladder.
• Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard.
• Close vision for computer work.
