MUNICIPAL WORKER (PUBLIC SERVICES/NOD)
General Statement of Duties
This assignment is within the Neighborhood Operations Division (NOD). The employee will be required to collect yard waste within the City of Cincinnati limits. Yard waste is collected seasonally typically between April 1st and December 31st, even in inclement weather (rain, snow, sleet, heat, humidity).
Minimum Qualifications (KSAs)
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Reliable, show initiative, have a positive attitude, and good work ethic.
- Provide own transportation.
- Driver License required. Commercial Driver's License with airbrake endorsement is preferred.
- Physically fit, able to do "heavy" to "very heavy" physical work.

Working and Physical Conditions
This is a seasonal position. Hours worked per day may vary. A 40-hour work week is not guaranteed.

- The City of Cincinnati offers 3 medical plans: the 80/20 PPO medical plan, the HDHP medical plan with an HSA contribution, and a Health Reimbursement Arrangement for those enrolled on another non-city eligible group plan.
